In May 2025, LAC teamed up with the JOG Mill Trust to procure and install a truly unique exhibition showcasing a variety of art works inspired by the John O’Groats Mill to celebrate the restoration and reopening of this historic building.

The evening saw our local community gather in this historic space and share stories from the John O’Groats Mill’s magnificent history. We also held a Q&A with the team responsible for bringing it back to life and enjoyed the various artworks of this iconic building that has inspired local artists across generations. We also had the wonderful Lindsay Gallacher on site doing a live drawing of the event – photos of the evening below….

The exhibition will remain open to the public during the mill opening hours (10am – 5pm daily expect Wednesdays) until 28th Sept 25
