Posted 27/06/22 by Calvin Wilson

As part of our ongoing collaboration with theatre-makers in Ontario, Canada, LAC are excited to welcome award-winning playwright Taylor Marie Graham to Caithness for an extended residency. As part of her time in Lyth, Taylor will lead a women’s playwrighting circle!

In this open and welcoming space, female identifying writers of all backgrounds and levels are welcome to join in! All you need is yourself and something to write with. If you have a play-in-progress, wonderful, bring that with you too, but no previous writing is required. We’ll get to know one another and facilitator Taylor Graham will guide the group through a series of playwrighting exercises catered to the group’s interests. The goal of these sessions is to foster community around writers in the circle and work those playwrighting muscles, finding the vital stories that live in us all!
