Job Opportunity – Marketing Manager (3 days a week)

Lyth Arts Centre wishes to engage a creative and dynamic individual to develop, manage and implement LAC’s marketing and communication strategies. This is a new role and an exciting period of development at LAC, which will see the launch of a new website, a season brochure, and much more.

Based at: Lyth Arts Centre

Contract: initially until end of November 2019 (with 3-month probationary period)

Salary: £15,600 p.a. (pro rata £26,000) paid PAYE

Working hours: 21 hours, flexible from 9am to 6pm, Monday – Friday. Some evening and weekend work will be required

Freelance Fridays – Every Friday – 10am – 4pm

Freelance Fridays is a new initiative to throw open the doors of Lyth Arts Centre to local creatives and freelancers in Caithness for a day of communal working. Whether you are an artist, crafter, creative or simply work from home, you are all welcome.

Here’s how it works. Simply drop in anytime you like between 10am and 4pm, with whatever work you’d like to get done. We’ll provide the desks, power, wi-fi, tea and coffee. 

This is an opportunity to meet like-minded creatives and freelancers in Caithness, bounce around your ideas, have a chat with the Lyth Arts Centre staff, or simply just break the monotony of working from home! This is very relaxed, and you can be as vocal or as quiet as you like. 

No need to book in advance, just turn up.
