Westward The Light are a vessel that brings together an expansive knowledge of Scottish folk music and culture, creating a new expression of an age-old sound. On fiddle, viola, vocals, piano, and guitar, the quartet’s music is reflective of upbringings immersed in the nature and landscapes of Scotland. The band formed as a result of years of collaboration in a range of settings.

Since their 2018 debut, the bands music has had a very positive reception, with a number of sold out shows including at 2019’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Now heading into their third year, the band will launch their debut self-titled album in March 2020.
