Join artists Hector MacInnes and Sinéad Hargan in the first – and only – rehearsals of The Disobedient Choir. Once gathered at the People’s Palace of Possibility, the choir will explore how to use their wayward voices to trespass, to disrupt, and to disobey.

The first session will be an informal session of warm-ups and experiments in disobedient singing. A small amount of (enjoyable!) homework will be set, before the choir reconvenes the following two weeks to (un)plan and sing their rousing, unpredictable debut performance.

All participants welcome. No singing or choral experience necessary. Enthusiasm, noisiness and distaste for authority are the only requirements.

The Palace installation will open at midday so stick around after to have a look (and listen)

This event is free to attend but booking is essential. Participants are expected to attend all three sessions;

Fridays (28th July / 4th August / 11th August)
