To celebrate the UK release of Caithness’ first feature film, Lyth Arts Centre are hosting a live online Q&A with the creators and cast of supernatural thriller Playhouse. The film tells the tale of a notorious horror writer who moves to a castle to develop a frightening new play. However, the castle’s dark history and supernatural disturbances begin to prey on his daughter and she falls victim to the demonic forces lurking within the
walls.

Fionn and Toby Watts, the local brothers behind the film will be joined in conversation by the cast, including Thurso-born actor Helen Mackay. The Q&A will be hosted by LAC Co-Directors Tom and Charlotte and will explore the local inspiration behind the film and why Caithness is so important Fionn and Toby as filmmakers.
