Making Daft Street Theatre with The Dab Hands

Friday 12.04.24

What Time

09:00 - 11:00

Dunnet Forest

The Dab Hands is a vibrant and daft piece of walkabout theatre. They are giant colourful light-up hands offering playfulness, colour, music, dance and non-verbal interaction – a multi-sensory invitation to play for all ages. Come and help us make some objects and puppets that will accompany The Dab Hands during their performance on Saturday night for the Forest Silent Disco.

In this making workshop we’ll create large inflatable costumes using colourful rip-stop fabric, smaller rip-stop windsocks and colourful paper lanterns. Our creations will become part of the Silent Disco at Dunnet Community Forest on Saturday night. All materials will be supplied, no previous making experience necessary. Suitable for ages 10+ If you’d like to perform with your creations at the Silent Disco then come along to the Performing Daft Street Theatre with The Dab Hands workshop too!

This event is free to attend but booking is essential.

For ages 10+

The workshop is family focused – all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult

This workshop will take place under the stretch tent in the forest, please wrap up warm and wear sensible footwear.
