Over 4 sessions, participants will explore different metal techniques including texturing, cutting and soldering. The course will allow participants to work with and explore the different textures. Participants will then use one of the textures to create one final piece – a silver ring!

Kelly Munro grew up in Wick and went to Edinburgh College of Art to study Jewellery and Silversmithing where she graduated with a first class honours degree. Kelly now has her own studio in Wick, where its historic fishing industry and harbours are a huge inspiration to her work.

Age guidance 12-17 (part of Caithness Young Creatives)

Please note: The course runs over four weeks on the following dates from 6pm-8pm

  • 27th June

One booking will be for all four workshops. It is important you can attend all four sessions to complete the course.
