Sculpture workshop with Jenny from Northshore Pottery

In this workshop we will explore natural forms through drawing and clay. You will learn ceramic hand building techniques and gain an understanding of the ceramic process from working with soft clay through to the firing.

Although Jenny works solely with clay, her work is diverse. She studied Fine Art (sculpture) at Newcastle University in the 80’s, and then worked with Studio Potters in the Highlands of Scotland, before setting up her own studio in ’93.

The workshops come in three sessions: Saturday 4 Dec, Saturday 11 Dec & Sunday 12 Dec. Participants are expected to attend all three sessions. Each session will be 1pm – 4pm.

Suitable for 13 – 19 year olds
