A filmmaking workshop for young creators.
Have you been playing around with your camera and want to improve your filmmaking skills? This workshop spread over two consecutive days will teach you skills on fiction film directing, sound recording and editing your footage. We’ll explore a script and how to work with actors, why sound recording is so important for your next masterpiece, and how the editing connects it all.
The workshop will be led by filmmaker Regina Mosch. Regina is a filmmaker and curator based in the Highlands with creative streaks in experimental, cross-media and new forms of storytelling. She has worked on productions in Scotland, Iceland, Switzerland and New York, and runs a festival for digital series in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Suitable for 13 – 19 year olds
The workshop comes in two sessions: Thursday 18 Nov (4.30pm – 8.30pm) & Friday 19 Nov (1.30pm – 5.30pm) Participants are expected to attend both sessions.
You are not required to bring any equipment, but if you have a camera you’ve worked with before, feel free to bring it along.
