Lyth Arts Centre hosts the UK premiere of this brand new show created by renowned children’s theatre-maker and designer Shona Reppe. Produced by award-winning Scottish children’s theatre company Cathrine Wheels in collaboration with Vélo Theatre, we’re incredibly proud to host the company here for the grand opening!

This brand new show for families is set in an intimate ‘pop-up’ art gallery, featuring a flying fish, fashion on a tin can, and a mermaid who isn’t afraid to make an exhibition of herself.

The show follows the eccentric Atlantis Banal – an artist like no other, who was born on an island, struck by lightning and raised by a dry cleaner. In this new show she invites visitors to take the plunge, and immerse themselves in a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and nothing is what it first appears.

For ages 8+

Also available for schools bookings on Friday 4th October . Please contact Calvin for more information.

  • "Reppe has charm to burn, engaging, kid-friendly, funny storyteller, actor and puppeteer. This is theatre of the imagination….for both kids and adults alike"
