Online information session for LAC’s upcoming CAIR: Community Artists in Residence (6 available) and More Than A Half Life Artist in Residence
CAIR (originally Caithness Artist in Residence) first launched in November 2020 as a new community arts initiative that connected artists and creative practitioners with Caithness communities. Led by Lyth Arts Centre and local community organisations, the third cohort of CAIR artists will lead projects across the county, developing creative responses to local problems, encouraging creative cultural activism and exploring an artist and community-led approach to art making.
These residencies will act as platforms for inquiry, allowing us to thematically explore our idiosyncratic location of remoteness, rurality, renewable powerhouse, crumbling industry, graffitied town centres and vast people-less beaches, questioning what it means to be urban and rural in the North Highlands.
Join for us for an online info session and Q&A with LAC Co-Directors Sinéad Hargan and Helen Moore
Please note: This session requires booking – once your booking has been made, you will be emailed joining instructions.
