Andrew Waite is an accordion player and composer from the Scottish Borders. He plays in bands such as Dallahan, Fourth Moon and Eliza Carthy’s Wayward Band. His music is rooted in Scottish, Irish and English Trad Music but he takes influences from many genres such as Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, Bluegrass, Funk and Classical Music.

Andrew will lead an informal workshop/come and try session for children as part of the Young Music Makers Programme

There are two slots to choose from. Age guidance as follows;

1pm – 2pm | 5 – 8 year olds
2.30pm – 3.30pm | 9-12 year olds

Please wear warm clothing as this event may be outside under the stretch tent.
