LAC does not use physical tickets. Your booking is held digitally at the box office. You can book through the following methods:

In Person: When shows aren’t fully booked, you can simply pay on the door at arrival. However, we would encourage you to pre book to avoid any disappointment.

There is no booking fee, whether you book online, over the phone or in person.

We accept cash and card (excluding American Express) in the venue and over the phone. You can order and pay online, there is no need to have an account.

Free events now include a £3 deposit when booking. This £3 deposit secures your booking. You can then choose to either donate it, use it at the bar, or claim it back in cash.

Why are we introducing a deposit scheme and how does it work?

As a registered charity, LAC receives funding from a range of different sources for us to provide some activities for our community at low cost or free of charge. However, over recent years we have seen a significant increase in people booking our free events then not showing up. This means lots of people miss out. We hope that by introducing a small deposit scheme we will encourage people to commit to their bookings, whilst also having the opportunity to support our vital work in the community if you’re able.

Please note, if the event is offsite you will only be able to claim your bar token or cash refund at your next visit to Lyth Arts Centre.

For use at the bar, £3 (or the deposit amout) will be taken off your final bill.

If you can no longer attend the event, the £3 deposit in non-refundable.

Concession rates vary depending on the show, this is often dictated by the touring company.

If concession rates do apply, we may ask to see proof of concession status. Please call the box office on 01955 601428 if you have any questions.

The Highland Council Plus One Scheme allows a person with high support needs to apply for a card which will give them greater access to a range of events and education, culture and sports venues.

LAC is a participating venue. When booking, show this card and this will allow an accompanying carer to gain access free. The cardholder will pay the normal rate of entry for themselves.

Buy 10 tickets to the same event and get 10% of the total booking

If you are a Friend of LAC (£20 individual / £30 joint per year) we can refund your ticket or exchange it for another event of the same value.

Otherwise, we are unable to refund or exchange tickets purchased. We can only process a refund if the event has sold out and we can pass your tickets on to somebody on the waiting list.
