Audio Writing & Walking Workshop

Linda Cracknell is a writer of fiction, non-fiction and drama for whom landscape, place and memory are key themes. She has published two collections of short stories, a novel ‘Call of the Undertow’ (2013) about a female cartographer who tries to isolate herself in coastal Caithness. ‘Doubling Back: Ten paths trodden in memory’ (2014) is an account of a series of walks, each of which follow a story from the past, including an Alpine climb in her father’s footsteps and a drove road between Perthshire and Skye. It was a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week.

Linda lives in Highland Perthshire but her writing and teaching take her to different landscapes, including the Moroccan Sahara. Find information about books, workshops, and events here: www.lindacracknell.com
