Loz Speyer’s Timezone May 7, 2007

Timezone

An exciting evening of beautifully written pieces by bandleader and horn player Loz Speyer expertly performed by a sextet of first-class musicians – two brass players and percussion as well as guitar and bass – the perfect line-up to produce the rich Afro-Cuban sound which forms the basis of this band’s music. To get an idea of their calibre look at the tour schedule which lists Soho’s prestigious Pizza Express as the next venue.
Workshop – Monday 7th May, 12 noon
Loz Speyer and his percussionist Satin Singh will lead a lunchtime Cuban Drumming Workshop that morning with options both for beginners (age 11+) and those with some previous experience.
You may be free as it’s a bank holiday so why not come and have fun learning a new skill and swap Caithness for Cuba for an hour.
