Four of Scotland’s most famous musicians have teamed up to produce a show of Scottish songs now seldom heard but once the basis of the folk revival in the 1960’s and 70’s. At that time folk music was at its peak.

In practically every town of any size there was a folk club packed with people enthusiastically joining in with the laughter and sing-a-long and music of the time. These days may have passed but the songs are still there, just very few people singing them.

Ian Bruce – Pete Clark – Gregor Lowrey and Ian Bruce have formed a group with the intention of producing a show singing these songs from the early days of the folk ‘revival’ but incorporating the developed musical skills of the current era. They have played at clubs, concerts and festivals all over the world plus they are familiar with extensive radio, TV and recording work.

The intention is to create a “feelgood” factor at the shows with audience participation and humour.
